Our club is looking for volunteers with technical and web communications expertise to hop onto our very fun Communications Committee. Reach back to help develop our next generation of communications for CCW.
Book Discussions: We are gathering readers for discussions on titles pictured below this Spring. Pre-register so that YOUR availability is used to set up the schedule. SUPPORTING VETERANS by Cornell Professor General George W. Casey, Jr. will be discussed in March or May, so get your copy and/or read its executive summary posted at the order page. You will give yourself an important analysis of veterans' matters so that you can contribute resourcefully to national policy needs in 2026. Contact our VP/ Community Service if you have questions.
E-mail the VP of Programming in order to post and host events such as a gathering for our "Explore DC Happy Hour" series.
Join the committee that is organizing CCW's Amazing Race. Yep! It will be just like the TV show-- a total blast for people who enjoy scavenger hunts, local history, conniving against the competition and rushing around. (Also coming soon: the first of several opportunities to attend 1 interest meeting to form your 4-person squad to compete at this huge May 9 event in Alexandria (Old Town). Questions? Great news for our members with 10th and 11th graders! Cornell is receiving applications for the DC Summer Policy Institute. Rising 11th and 12 graders will attend at the Wolpe Center near Dupont Circle from July 6-17. It's a 2-week non-residential course to earn 2 college credits. Spread the word on this new program! Guidance counselors and promising students at your local high school will love learning about it.

All members of CCW are always invited to club Board Meetings, typically the second Tuesday night of each month listed in our "Events" section. Come meet the gang and find many ways to get involved.
