Pre-register so that YOUR availability is used to set up the schedule. Supporting Veterans by Cornell Professor General George W. Casey, Jr. will be discussed in May, so get your copy and/or read its executive summary posted at the order page. You will give yourself an important analysis of veterans' matters so that you can contribute resourcefully to national policy needs in 2026. Contact our VP/ Community Service if you have questions.
E-mail the VP of Programming in order to post and host events such as a gathering for our "Explore DC Happy Hour" series.
Cornell Club's Amazing Race (May 9) has started with registration due April 30. Yep! Just like the TV show, it will be a total blast for people who enjoy scavenger hunts, exploring with others Alexandria's Old Town, a brief element of community service amidst the fun, conniving against the competition, brutal and tear-filled eliminations, and a little rushing about. Learn more at the competition web site or by attending 1 interest meeting where we can match participants up in 4-person squads to compete! Email your questions to communityservice @ cornellclubdc. org . Join our planning committee if you want laughs!
Great news for our members with 10th and 11th graders! Cornell is receiving applications for the DC Summer Policy Institute. Rising 11th and 12 graders will attend at the Wolpe Center near Dupont Circle from July 6-17. It's a 2-week non-residential course to earn 2 college credits. Spread the word on this new program! Guidance counselors and promising students at your local high school will love learning about it.
Take our 5-minute survey so that we can use member input to see where to put efforts next.
All members of CCW are always invited to club Board Meetings, typically the second Tuesday night of each month listed in our "Events" section. Come meet the gang and find many ways to get involved.
Our book discussion series will be scheduled on dates according to the pre-registration info gathered here. Invite a friend! Contact our Community Service VP with your questions.
