  • 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
  • The Hyatt Regency Washington, 400 New Jersey Ave NW Washington DC 20001

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) has invited Kathryn Boor, Ph.D., Dean of Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS), to the nation’s capital to speak at its Regulatory RoundUP meeting next week.

Boor will lead a compelling discussion on strategies for systems-based growth in the dairy industry, by providing an in-depth look into her research in microbial dairy food safety and quality, from the farm to the table. She will also discuss Cornell’s successful efforts in using broad-based research, teaching and extension expertise to address issues critical to the growth of the dairy industry.

IDFA invites all Cornell CALS students and alumni to Dean Boor’s session entitled, “Strategies for Growth in the Dairy Industry – a Systems Approach,” on Tuesday, June 24, from 3:30 - 4:15 p.m., free of charge.

Cornell CALS students and alumni interested in attending Regulatory RoundUP in its entirety will be offered a discounted rate.

Boor will join several of the nation’s highest-level regulatory officials and decision-makers in the federal government and in the private sector at IDFA’s Regulatory RoundUP, June 24-25, in Washington, D.C.

For more information about Dean Boor’s session at Regulatory RoundUP, visit IDFA’s website.

To register for the free session or to receive the discounted rate for the entire Regulatory RoundUP, please contact Maria Velasco, assistant for meetings and educational services, at mvelasco@idfa.org.
