A NIGHT AT THE WASHINGTON NATIONAL OPERA

Presented by the Cornell University Gay and Lesbian Alumni Association (CUGALA)

5:30pm – 6:45pm (Reception), Kennedy Center Opera Tier Lounge;

7:00pm – 8:30pm (Rehearsal).  Opera House.

Join us for an exclusive evening at the Kennedy Center, consisting of a wine and cheese reception followed by a full-orchestra rehearsal of Mozart’s last opera,
The Magic Flute, conducted by Philippe Auguin.  The Washington National Opera’s Artistic Director Francesca Zambello and Executive Director Michael Mael will join us during the reception to answer our questions about opera, discuss the WNO’s production of The Magic Flute, and talk about next year’s exciting season.

Following the reception, ushers will escort us to box seats to view the rehearsal.  This is the final event before the sold-out dress rehearsal, and is being made available only to our group through a special collaboration with the Washington National Opera.  Sign up early!

DRESS CODE:  Smart casual.

COST: $50.00 per person

RSVP:   Required.  Please register early as we can only accept a maximum of 60 people for this event.
