From our friends at the Cornell Club of Los Angeles...

Join writer, actor, producer Jake Allyn ’13, for an interesting talk about his experience making it in Hollywood.

.Jake Allyn wrote and starred in the modern western NO MAN'S LAND for IFC FILMS. Currently playing in select theaters and available for at home rental (i-Tunes, Amazon, Apple, Vudu, OnDemand), the film flips immigration upside down by following a young Texas rancher who must travel across Mexico as a gringo "illegal alien." Throughout his journey, he comes to love a land he was taught to hate, all while being a fugitive running from Texas Rangers and Mexican Federales. The film, which stars GEORGE LOPEZ, FRANK GRILLO and ANDIE MACDOWELL, received a 91% Rotten Tomatoes audience score, and warranted stellar reviews from the LA TIMES and THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

Jake also starred on BET's social drama THE QUAD and will be in the upcoming NETFLIX action thriller SWEET GIRL beside JASON MOMOA and MARISA TOMEI.
