Cornell Cares Day looks a little different in 2021 - participate with these suggested ways to give back:

• Check in with local organizations to view their wish lists
• Donate goods to your local food bank or shelter
  
• Clean out closets and donate clothes, toys, and books
• Read at an online story time for your local library
• Make your own lending library box or food pantry box (check with local ordinances)
• Paint rocks with encouraging words and place them along walkways
• Hang a sign in your window sharing words of support, or write a letter to someone in your community
• Take a bag with you on family walks and clean up trash (always use a disposable glove)
• Help out a neighbor with raking leaves or shoveling snow
