Want to get in better shape and learn to defend yourself? Join us for an introductory martial arts and self-defense class with Potomac Kempo.

The study of martial arts helps improve fitness, focus, confidence, and self-discipline. You will be introduced to the art of Shaolin Kempo, which is a historic blend of Karate and Kung Fu and has many similarities to Taekwondo, Krav Maga, and Taichi. You will be taught basic strikes, blocks, and kicks, as well as practical applications for real-life scenarios.

Come for a fun workout, camaraderie with your fellow CCW Members, and exposure to a martial arts discipline renowned in Asia and the United States.

The Class will be taught be Sensei Mark, a third degree black belt. Open to adults and teenagers (15 and above) of all different fitness levels. No prior martial arts experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing. Tennis shoes not required.

The dojo is located in Old Town Alexandria, steps away from boutique shops, fun restaurants, historic sites, and the Old Town Waterfront.

Accessible by Metro on the Yellow/Blue lines at the King Street Station.

Non-Members - $5
