in strengthening & broadening the Cornell Song Tradition, whether or not singing was a public student activity during your tenure on campus and whether or not you dedicated substantial time as a member of Chorus or Glee Club or select acapella groups! Learn a bit about the history of our songs & sing them amidst a group of Cornellians, who got to spend time in Sage Chapel, on tour & in every day Cornell life, singing.
Sing the Alma Mater & the Evening Song with confidence along with several other standards. Scott Tucker, the Priscilla Edwards Browning Director of the CU Chorus & Glee Club from 1995-2012 & other Cornell friends will conduct & a few Cornell Song pianists will support us around a Steinway grand piano.
Practice at Cornelliana Night once every 5 years of Reunion or at Cornell Homecoming Concert Sing Alongs just doesn’t spread our Big Red Spirit enough. Reluctant Cornellian singers are very welcome & are encouraged to attend. Song sheets will be provided so you can sing along and study them for use another time. If you’re already a Cornell Song Tradition singer, you know what to do. Join us & bring a Cornell friend too!
Members $40 ; Non-Members $50
(Note - All attendees will receive a "CU Songs for Practice" booklet to take home.)
Reception at Whitby Lobby immediately adjacent for wine, cheese, fruit & sweets.
