Join CCW and the Cornell Latino Alumni Association in honoring Hispanic Heritage month by volunteering for a service event!

Hispanic Heritage Month runs September 15 - October 15. As part of our efforts to recognize Hispanic heritage and contributions in the US, Cornell alumni are helping DC residents in Hispanic areas and partnering with organizations that have significant Hispanic volunteer corps.

Overview: Help fellow Cornellians as we partner with Adam's Place, an emergency shelter run by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. Volunteers will wash and fold linens, as well as assisting shelter staff with basic cleaning and maintenance functions.

Volunteers should be 18+ (15+ if accompanied by a parent or guardian), wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared to fill out registration paperwork on site.
