The Cornell Club is again entering its team, respected as the Big Red Dragons, in Washington’s annual Dragon Boat Festival, to be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18, 2008. Come cheer on the team at the Georgetown waterfront.

Race times will be posted on Saturday and Sunday mornings. More information on the Festival is available on the web at www.dragonboatdc.com.

Paddlers

Each boat needs 20 paddlers, and the CCW Captains are eager to recruit some new talent—no previous experience necessary.

Join us for practice at the Anacostia Community Boat House on the Anacostia River by the Washington Navy Yard in Southeast DC.

New Paddler Training to be held May 24th and May 28th

Dragon boat training sessions for NEW PADDLERS ONLY will be held on Saturday, May 24th, at 10:00AM and Wednesday, May 28th, at 6:30PM.
