Come try your hand on the water or just savor the strawberries, meet other Cornellians, and enjoy a day with the family on the Anacostia waterfront. We will be using dragon boats (20 paddlers), 8-oared shells and an 8-oared training barge for beginners. Fresh strawberries and cream will be served under red and white canopies. read more »

2008 Washington D.C. Dragon Boat Festival

The Cornell Club is again entering its medal-winning team, the Big Red Dragons, in Washington’s annual Dragon Boat Festival. Come cheer on the team at the Georgetown waterfront.

The 2008 Dragon Boat Festival has been rescheduled to May 31-June 1, 2008, due to flooding. read more »

Catch up with area alumni, hear Club President Kim Jones ’98 MBA ’02 deliver the Club’s annual report, recognize the outgoing and incoming club leadership, and enjoy a presentation from a local Cornell celebrity. A cocktail hour (cash bar) will start the evening, followed by dinner and the keynote speaker, Carl Leubsdorf ’59.

Carl Leubsdorf ’59 is presently the Washington bureau chief of The Dallas Morning News and the current President of the Gridiron Club. read more »
