Learn to Knit a Hat - and Help the Homeless!

Have you always wanted to learn to knit? Do you know the basics but haven't tried something more advanced? The CCW Knitting Group invites novices and old hands alike to join us in a hat-knitting workshop on Saturday, February 4th, from 12 - 2 p.m. at the Cornell Center in Dupont Circle. Finished products will be donated to organizations serving the homeless to provide some warmth in these cold winter months!

We will provide knitting supplies for those who want to learn, a handful of experienced knitters to walk you through the steps for beginning and knitting a hat, and step-by-step printed instructions for completing your hats. If you're an experienced knitter, please join us too! We'll have refreshments, knitting tips and tricks, and patterns and ideas to share.

Hope to see you on February 4th!
