Ivy Singles Cruise

The June Ivy Singles event will be a Sunset/Happy Hour Cruise on Friday, June 11th from 7-10PM. We will depart from the Washington Marina (1300 Maine Ave SW, Washington, DC, which is located directly south of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel) promptly at 7PM, then cruise up the Potomac by the Monuments/Mall/Kennedy Center/Georgetown before returning at 10 PM.

Menu includes wings, taquitos, quiche tarts, mozzarella sticks, chips & salsa, veggie platter, etc. There will also be a cash bar serving soft drinks, spring water, wine, beer, cocktails, and a $4 margarita special.

You may park at the Marina lot for $10, or at a meter in the nearby Fish Market area, or take the metro (go to Smithsonian metro on Blue/Orange line, exit at 12th and Independence, walk south on 12th St., turn right on Maryland Ave., continue to front of Mandarin Oriental Hotel, walk around left side of hotel and proceed down steps, continue on walkway and cross over footbridge towards large yachts).

Cost/RSVP

Cost will be $40/person: you may pay online (https://web.memberclicks.com/mc/quickForm/viewForm.do?orgId=ycwd&formId=81216, which includes a $2 processing fee) or by making out a check to “DC Penn Club” with your school's name included and sending it to: Jon Teitel, 1711 Massachusetts Ave. NW, #522, Washington, DC 20036.  If you would like to RSVP in advance and pay at the door, or if you have any questions, please contact Jon at: .  Walk-in availability will be limited due to the capacity of the boat, but if we have any room left, then you may pay $40 at the door.  A special price of $35/person is available for summer interns and recent alums (Class of 2005 through Class of 2010).
