Gridiron Club Sunday Reception

Ever been curious to see journalists spoofing both Democrats and
Republicans in song and costume? Here's your chance. Members of the
Cornell Club of Washington are invited to attend the Gridiron Club's
Sunday reception on March 21 at which members of Washington's oldest
and most prestigious organization of journalists reprise the show
performed the night before for a glittering white-tie audience of top
Washington politicos and news executives from around the country.
Tickets
are just $80, and members who come will get priority seating. The
reception begins at 3 pm; munchies and drinks (wine, beer and soft
drinks) are served. The show begins at 4 pm and you'll see exactly the
same show that club members performed on Saturday night, along with
Mark Shields' summaries of the night's speeches. The place is the Main
Ballroom of the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW,
Plenty of parking in the hotel or across the street at the old
Convention Center site. The performance ends before 6 pm.
