The Cornell Asian Alumni Association (CAAA) was founded in 1990 to serve the needs and interests of Asian alumni, Asian students and the University. Our goals include promoting greater Asian alumni involvement in University affairs, supporting the academic and career development of current Asian students, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and information between Asian alumni, Asian students and the University here and abroad.
In addition to the Annual Banquet (formerly known as the Pan-Asian Annual Banquet), CAAA sponsors lectures, career development seminars, networking events, and social functions. CAAA members serve on the Board of Trustees and Cornell University Council as well as participate in the University's admissions, career development, and fundraising activities.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the CAAA Scholarship Program which recognizes outstanding students who best demonstrate a commitment to helping themselves through work, academic achievement and volunteer community service.
Since 1993, CAAA has proudly awarded 47 scholarships to 24 Cornell students.
