About Ruth Schimel
Ruth Schimel, Ph.D., '61 B.S. ILR hasbeen a career and life management consultant since 1983. In 1998, shefounded The Schimel Lode which now encourages innovation andcollaboration for the public good in the DC area. Her previousincarnations include: U.S. diplomat serving in Guatemala, India andEcuador, management consultant and professor of human resources at Marymount, Georgetown and American Universities.
