Ivy Singles Reception-National Building Museum

Friday Sep 5 20086:30 pm

Kickoff a new social season with the

Ivy Singles Social Club Reception at

The National Building Museum

We’ll meet in the Pension Commissioner’s Suite on the 2nd Floor for hors d’oeuvres and drinks overlooking the Great Hall. (PRE-PAID ONLY - NO WALKINS)

The National Building Museum, among the most venerable buildings in Washington DC, it’s spectacular interior, highlighted by central fountain and grand Corinthian columns, has played host to Presidential Inaugural Balls and many grand galas.

“The Museum, however, much more than a repository of things, [...] is above all a forum for the development, exploration, and exchange of ideas. [...] the National Building Museum has become one of the world’s most prominent and vital venues for informed, reasoned debate about the built environment and its impact on people’s lives.” —NBM website www.nbm.org

The National Building Museum is across the street from Judiciary Square Metro stop on the red line, also on-street parking is available on all sides of the Museum.

The Ivy Singles Social Club (ISSC) is a coalition of Ivy League, Seven Sister and other prestigious schools’ regional alumni associations that sponsors social activities. Our events are open to all single alumni of member schools.
