The Big Green Bus Summer Tour Kick-off Party

Tuesday Jun 10 20085:30 pm

The Dartmouth Alumni Club of DC invites you to join us in welcoming Dartmouth's Big Green Bus to Washington on June 10th. The Bus, an old school bus converted to run on french fry grease, is the home for 12 Dartmouth students who will spend the summer touring the US, promoting awareness and discussion of alternative fuels and energy creativity.

With special guests, The Backyard Blues Band, and local energy policy experts.

Join us to take a tour of the bus, see how a solar panel works, try to turn a wind turbine, or take a look under the hood. We invite you to bring your family to check out the Bus and its rolling science fair of green!

This event is free, though donations are greatly appreciated. In the spirit of the Bus crew's mission, and because parking is limited, we suggest taking the Metro to the party (Union Station on the Red Line is the closest stop).

For more information on the Big Green Bus, check out the website at www.thebiggreenbus.org. Email with your questions about the event.
