Ivy Singles Holiday Party

Friday Dec 7 20075:30 pm

The Washington DC Stanford Club invites you to an Ivy Singles Social Club holiday party.

The venue is the elegant, historic DACOR Bacon House (built 1824-25), home to several Supreme Court Justices as well as a Maryland governor. Congressman Bacon and his wife lived in the house. Upon her death, Bacon’s widow, Virginia Murray Bacon, bequeathed the historic building to the Foundation as a memorial to husband, U.S. Representative Robert Low Bacon of New York. The House now serves as headquarters and meeting place for members of the Diplomatic and Consular Officers, Retired (DACOR) and the DACOR Bacon House Foundation.

The Dacor Bacon House will be decorated for the holiday season and a fir tree will await our collective, talented ‘bobble and bow adding skills’. PLEASE BRING an ornament to put on the tree or an inexpensive item to put under the tree for our toy drive. Wrapped gifts should note suggested age of child for the gift.

We will feast on scrumptious hors d'oeuvres and enjoy live music. Libations will be available from a cash bar. Wear your festive party apparel.
