International Spirit of Zinck's Night 2007
Alumni around the world will gather to toast the spirit of Theodore Zinck. There will be food and drink specials, and Cornell friends of all classes.
Theodore Zinck was a saloonkeeper in Ithaca and his pub, the Hotel Brunswick, was a popular gathering place for Cornellians in the 1890s. After his death in 1903, several bars using his name continued to provide a haven for students. When the last “Zinck’s” closed in the mid-60s, celebrating the spirit of Zinck’s became a favorite Thursday night Collegetown tradition of undergraduates.
Zinck's Night is the premier Cornell alumni event to catch up with old friends and welcome new alumni to the area. Don't arrive too late, or your miss the delicious appetizers! Enjoy beer and drink specials until 9 PM.
