YOUR FUTURE DIRECTIONS: CAREERS AND BEYOND

What’s next for you in your personal and professional life?  Whether invited or not, your important and smaller transitions are likely to continue.   Use this workshop to make the most of such shifts.  It will help you move from just reacting to creating and using your own authentic roadmap for pleasurable, productive directions.

You will be then able to focus efforts based on who you are and what you truly want first rather than what’s presented.  Wherever you are in your life, use this approach to be your own lodestar.

Workshop Content and Benefits

Translate key values, transferable skills, interests, and preferred contexts into a roadmap for thriving.

·        Use such integrated information about yourself to take effective action related to what you want to do, with whom, how, and where.

·        Consider choices for the short and longer run with expanded imagination and attention to what are good matches for you

·        Receive user-friendly, digestible materials to encourage follow up with workshop participants and others.

·        Find mutual support and new contacts among the range of participants.

In addition to related handouts for use in this workshop and afterwards, you’ll have prior access to a new handbook,  Step Into the Success You Want: Sparking Your Powers:   Get it for $0.99 on Kindle, $5.50 in soft cover.  This handbook complements Ruth Schimel’s  recently-published Choose Courage: Step Into the Life You Want, also available through Amazon and  local  bookstores.  The book is based on doctoral research that led to a 21st century definition of courage honoring readers’ powers and interests.

About Ruth Schimel, Ph.D.  A graduate of Cornell ILR, Ruth has been a diplomat, management consultant, and professor.  A career and life management consultant since 1983, she founded and now manages a foundation, and is an author.  Among other ways she will help you express your true capacities, consider her your Courage Broker.  See www.ruthschimel.com and  www.theschimellode.net for free Resources.
