On Saturday, February 22, the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center will host the first annual Celebration of Excellence in Early Learning Gala at the National Air and Space Museum.

SEEC (Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center)

This evening will include an amazing meal sponsored by Grand Cuisine, drinks, sharing of awards for our own SEEC teachers, and an award for excellence in early childhood to be given to a community member.  Dr. Kathryn Sullivan--Scientist, Astronaut and Explorer-- will serve as the Honorary Chair of the event. The evening will be capped by hearing from Josh Bernstein, Explorer At Large, as he shares his many adventures from around the world and his thoughts on education.

We hope you will consider supporting SEEC by joining us for this very special event. Please feel free to forward this message to all of your friends,  family and colleagues so they, too, can join in this gala evening. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased by clicking on the link below.

The evening will include dinner, drinks, speaker and award to a community leader in early education.

The Chair of the event is astronaut Dr. Kathryn Sullivan, the first woman to walk in space, and the keynote speaker is Josh Bernstein, explorer, survival expert, anthropologist, TV host (and fellow Cornell graduate).

There's also an optional private reception with Kathy and Josh before the the event.

All proceeds benefit the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, a 501(c)3, and its outreach efforts.

As always, we appreciate your support!
