Calling all 2013 Reunion Classes and Reunion
Crashers!

CCW and the Classes of the 3s and 8s
are collaborating to hold a pre-reunion reception
at the Arts Club of Washington. If you attend, you
might be able to arrange a ride to campus, make
plans with classmates, and also learn why alumni
enjoy returning to campus for reunions. We’ll be
sharing stories, singing some Cornell songs and
meeting others who want to attend a Reunion.
Network, sample cocktail food and drinks and
enjoy the company of fellow Cornellians as we
celebrate our Alma Mater. Please note: This is not
a fundraising event.

About our venue: Built in 1802, the Arts Club, a
National Historic Landmark, was James Monroe’s
home during the War of 1812-14 while he was
Secretary of State. The building was expanded in
1806 to the present Georgian style. The Arts Club
has been headquartered on I Street since its
founding in 1916. Its mission is “to generate public
appreciation for and participation in the arts of
the Nation’s capital through ongoing educational
programs that include seminars, literary events,
musical and theatrical performances.” Local
artists’ artwork is exhibited throughout the year
with accompanying receptions and openings.
