The Stanford Club of Washington D.C. invites you to the Ivy Singles Social Club Holiday Party!
Our venue is the elegant and historic DACOR-Bacon House (built 1824-25), home to several Supreme Court Justices and a Maryland governor. U.S. Congressman from New York, Robert Low Bacon and his wife, Virginia Murray Bacon, lived in the house until 1980. Upon her death Virginia bequeathed the building and furnishings as a memorial to her husband. The DACOR-Bacon House and Foundation now serve as a "place to facilitate international peace and understanding" as well as a conference and meeting place for Diplomatic and Consular Officers, Retired (DACOR).
Each floor of the DACOR-Bacon House will be festively decorated for the holiday season. We will feast on hot and cold hors d'oeuvres and enjoy a fine selection of wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks from a cash bar. Consistent with our elegant surroundings, please come dressed in holiday, cocktail or business attire.
