Help Cornell alumni staff and spend a morning volunteering at the Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL), a great place for rescued pets and loving animals in need of homes!  As part of our sesquicentennial celebrations, CCW is asking the Washington DC region Cornellians to represent their dedication to the “service” portion of our university’s scholarship, service, and work credo.

Overview: Up to 15 volunteers will assist WARL with cleaning, pet adoption paperwork, pack walks, and other light labor at their facility in NW DC. Volunteers must be 18 years or older (or 12 - 17 if accompanied by parents), and should wear closed-toe shoes.

Please consider bringing a donation to WARL’s Food Bank.  Supported entirely by private donations, the Rescuers’ Food Bank has become a critical lifeline for many people and animals in the area, serving more than 100 families on a monthly basis.
