Help End Hunger with the Capital Area Food Bank!

Join the Capital Area Food Bank to help us provide fresh produce to needy residents at our mobile marketplace free farmers' market! This exciting volunteer opportunity is available for up to 30 people on January 3rd from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Food Bank volunteer duties vary, but typically involve packing and/or sorting donated produce, engaging with customers, and assisting with set up and tear down of the marketplace.

Volunteer activities will likely take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. In the event of inclement weather, the marketplace will be moved indoors to Terrell Recreational Center on First St NW.
