Message from the CCW President

Greetings fellow Cornellians, and welcome from the Cornell Club of Washington!

The Cornell University alumni community in the Washington, DC area is one of the largest, strongest, and most diverse communities of Cornell alumni in the world. The Cornell Club of Washington exists to serve this community in a way that reflects each of these qualities.

With nearly 1,000 members, we are the largest volunteer-run regional Cornell alumni organization in the world. With a full calendar of social, cultural, educational, and networking events, and strong admissions, scholarship, and community service programs, we are also one of the most active. And with a newly implemented joint membership program with the Cornell Black Alumni Association, we continue to make efforts to be one of the most diverse.

Membership and participation in the Cornell Club of Washington provides you an opportunity to meet and connect with fellow Cornellians in the metropolitan Washington, DC area, to learn something new, to give back to others, and to keep in touch with your alma mater. On behalf of the Club’s elected officers and directors, I invite you to get involved in our Club’s activities and take advantage of the many incredible benefits the Club has to offer.

Whether by joining us in any of the many exciting events that the Club sponsors throughout the year, assuming an active role in Club leadership and programming, or supporting the Club’s worthy scholarship or community service programs, we hope you’ll become a part of the Club.
