The Cornell Men’s Lacrosse team has advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 2013 NCAA Lacrosse Tournament.  They beat UMD here last weekend to earn the right to return this weekend to College Park regional.   The Terrapins are out and it will be the Big Red facing Ohio State at 12:30pm at Byrd Stadium.

Come out to cheer on the team!  General Admission tickets are available through the Cornell Club of Washington for the discounted price of $19, a $6 savings from the box office price.  All seats are general admission.  Tickets will be available at Will Call at Byrd Stadium before the game.  

You must purchase your tickets by Friday, May 17 at noon to be included in the Cornell block.  Reserved mezzanine seats and day of tickets are available directly from the Maryland box office.

Your ticket is good for both the Cornell vs. Ohio State game and the Yale vs. Syracuse which will immediately follow.  The winners advance to the Final Four in Philadelphia Memorial Day Weekend.

 

There will be a BYOB tailgate at Lot1B; close to the parents tailgate.  Starts 11/11:30 AM

 Transportation/Directions:
By car, follow the signs from University Boulevard to Stadium Drive. 

By Metro, Green Line to College Park, then Shuttle-UM Bus 104 to Stamp Student Union.   The shuttle runs every 20 minutes.  The stadium is an approximate .25 mile walk from the bus stop.

The College Park station on the Green Line will be closed this weekend for track work. http://www.wmata.com/about_metro/news/PressReleaseDetail.cfm?ReleaseID=5497.

WMATA will provide shuttle bus service, etc. but you need to allow extra time.
